Biography

Awat Latif Qader is an assistant lecturer and a member of teaching staff at architectural department. She holds a master of Architecture (MArch) in theory and design from Nottingham University- United Kingdom. She obtained her BSc from Salahaddin University Erbil (SU-E), ranking 2nd from the department of architecture in 2008 and has started working at the same department since; first as an assistant engineer from 2009 to 2014 and then as a teaching staff from 2016 till current day.

She has a teaching experience and solid background in architectural design, architectural graphics, landscape design, urban planning, academic debate and critical thinking.

Her main area of interests includes architectural theory, conceptual design, critical thinking, vernacular architecture, heritage and Conservation, architectural graphics and sketching.
